Shipping Policy - the basics

A Shipping Policy is a legally binding document that establishes the relationship between Bull & Thorn Metaphysical Services (“we,” “our,” “us”) and our customers (“you”) regarding order processing, shipping costs, delivery times, pickup, and problem resolution.

A clear Shipping Policy helps set customer expectations, reduces misunderstandings, and ensures both sides are protected if issues arise during the delivery process. By placing an order through Bull & Thorn, you agree to the following terms.

 Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 2–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • Processing times may be extended during high-volume periods, such as holidays or product launches.

  • You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a shipping notification with tracking details once your package has shipped.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Domestic Orders (U.S.): Standard delivery typically takes 5–10 business days after processing.

  • Expedited Shipping: May be available at checkout for an additional cost.

  • Delays: We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or customs clearance.

 Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on location, weight, and shipping method.

  • Free shipping promotions may apply to select products or order amounts; these will be clearly advertised when available.

 Damaged or Missing Items

  • All orders are carefully inspected and packaged before shipping.

  • If an item arrives damaged, defective, or is missing, you must report it within 7 days of delivery.

  • Depending on the situation, we will provide a replacement at no cost, store credit, or another appropriate resolution.

 International Orders

  • We currently ship internationally to select countries. Availability may vary.

  • International customers are responsible for customs duties, VAT, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country.

  • Delivery times for international orders vary and may take 2–6 weeks depending on destination and customs clearance.

  • We are not responsible for packages delayed, held, or refused by customs authorities.

 Local Pickup

  • Pickup Availability: Local pickup is available every two weeks at our Cumberland, Maryland location.

  • Scheduling: Customers will be contacted directly with a pickup date and time once their order is ready.

  • Identification: Please bring a valid ID and order confirmation when picking up.

  • Unclaimed Orders: Orders not picked up within 30 days may be restocked; store credit will be issued.

Service Interruptions & Exceptions

  • Shipping or pickup may be delayed due to:

    • Severe weather or natural disasters.

    • Postal strikes or carrier interruptions.

    • High seasonal demand (holidays, sales events).

  • We will notify customers by email if there are significant delays impacting their order.
